Congregation Tifereth Israel honors the teachings and best practices of all Jewish denominations. Our presenters include rabbis and teachers from various Jewish movements, including Pluralistic, Orthodox, and Renewal.
Sunday Morning Book Group
The Sharyn Berliner Book Group meets approximately every two months on Sundays, 10:30 am – 12:00 pm. Books are either on Jewish topics or by Jewish authors. Meetings are filled with stimulating discussions.
Rosh Chodesh and Adult B’nai Mitzvah
Rosh Chodesh gatherings welcome each new Hebrew month with study, reflection, and community. Our Adult B’nai Mitzvah program invites adults to deepen their Jewish learning and celebrate this meaningful milestone—whether for the first time or once again.
Conversation Cafe
A lively discussion of current events is held monthly. In person and on Zoom.
Challah Baking

Learning with Rabbi Irwin
The Rabbi’s stimulating seminars and workshops cover a wide range of topics, including: “All You Wanted to Know about Judaism,” “Women in the Bible, “ “Kabbalah”, and more.

Each week, Rabbi Irwin applies the weekly Torah parashah to daily life.
Music with the Cantor
Cantor Gustavo explores the origins of many melodies and prayers, including those sung on Shabbat, the High Holidays, Passover and Chanukah.
Conversion/Independent Study
The Rabbi is happy to meet with individuals who want to broaden their knowledge or have questions about Judaism.
