Executive Assistant

Susan Zeitlin is Congregation Tifereth Israel's Executive Assistant. Results-oriented and experienced in office administration, Susan's responsibilities include answering phones and directing calls; coordinating congregational mailings, including yahrzeit and birthday cards; completing daily tasks, such as filing and organizing, and assisting Jessi with her needs. With her exceptional communications skills, she works effectively with a wide range of individuals who visit and call the CTI office. Susan's professional experience includes serving as Assistant Director at the B.G. Cantor Sculpture Center in the World Trade Center. Prior to that, she was the Assistant to the Director of the C.W. Post Art Gallery and Administrative Assistant to the world-renowned architect, Edward Durell Stone. Susan received a Bachelor of Arts in Arts Administration from C.W. Post. When not at CTI, she enjoys spending time with her family, including her husband, children and four wonderful grandchildren, as well as Puma and Rafa, her feline kids.

Executive Assistant

Lauren Heller joins Congregation Tifereth Israel's staff as an Executive Assistant - responsible for digital mailings, 'computer tasks', facility and event management, and covering for Susan when she's not in the office.

She has more than 40 years experience in publishing (production/layout) of magazines, books, newspapers, apps and digital editions. Combined with her formal education in Technical Theater (Lighting Design and Stage Management), Lauren is a get-things-done person--usually with a friendly smile, ready helping-hand and positive attitude.

Lauren is currently living in Sea Cliff and is comitted to "Think Globally, Act Locally." She loves music, theater, movies, puzzles, games and getting recharged in nature.
