Rabbi Irwin Huberman explores some of the history, development and controversy surrounding the Kabbalah. How is Kabbalah part of regular Jewish practice? What are some of its core concepts? What is the Kabbalah's connection with astrology and the zodiac?
SUNDAY MORNING BOOK GROUP
The Sharyn Berliner Book Group meets approximately every two months on Sunday mornings between 10:30 am and noon. The selected books are either on Jewish topics or written by Jewish authors. Open to both men and women, the meetings are filled with stimulating discussions and sharing fresh bagels with friends.
Lunch & Learn
Wednesday afternoons beginning at 12:00 pm, Bill Friedlieb leads our weekly Lunch & Learn classes held in the CTI Library. This is an opportunity for adults to discuss scholarship of Jewish texts and relevant current events.
Wednesday evenings beginning at 7:45 pm. With instructor Alan Bloom, we come together to enjoy the jubilant music, learn new and old dances and get a good workout!
